empress crowns

This man was not happy with his smile.  The spaces between his teeth made his teeth appear too small and the angle of  his front teeth were slightly tilted.  ( First photo) We were able to create a more uniform and masculine smile by crowning 10 upper teeth with EMPRESS crowns.  The key to the success of this case was to first create a “trial smile”  in plastic. (second photo) This way, Dr. Saylor was able to be ultra conservative in his preparation.  And it gave the patient a chance to see what the end result would look like in his mouth, rather on a stone model.  We think the final result is beautiful…and the patient can smile with confidence.before1mock-up1after2

STA…What’s new in dental injections

March 11th, 2009. Published under cosmetic dentistry, dental pain, painfree dentistry. No Comments.

Anesthetic injections for dental procedures have not really changed in 100 years…Until now. Milestone Scientific introduces the STA, single tooth anesthesia. The computer confirms proper needle placement, uses low-pressure delivery, allowing a greater volume to be administered- thus a more predictable, precise, faster and non-threatening injection, with no collateral numbing! All of this = Happy Patients!sta-0022
