The importance of shade selection for crowns

We spend a lot of time and take several photo’s to get results like this. Note the (X) is a crown that was just cemented. Compare to the molar just behind it…No comparison. The new crown has more characterization and translucency …Just looks like a tooth!

This patient had severe wear present on all of his teeth. While waiting for two areas in the back to be prepared for implants, we were able to restore all of his front teeth with all porcelain crowns, for an incredible result.

This patient had a high decay rate due to a diet that included several sodas per day. He also had the beginning of periodontal disease. Dr. Saylor gave him a SONICARE toothbrush…got him on the right track toward a HEALTHY mouth. We were able to restore his upper and lower teeth using a combination of EMPRESS veneers and crowns. We think this is a beautiful result! What do you think?
